In this 1st Line role, you’ll be lead a team responsible for ensuring the effective identification, management and mitigation of operational risks, embedding a proactive risk culture and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
You’ll lead Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) processes, ensuring risks are identified, assessed and mitigated and that controls are fit for purpose, tested regularly and strengthened accordingly.
You’ll work with the business to define and implement processes for identifying and supporting vulnerable customers and ensure that controls are in place to prevent and address customer harm.
This is a hybrid role where you will split your time 50/50 between working from the office and from home.
You’ll be an experienced senior Risk specialist within the Financial Services arena (insurance experience would be of interest but is not essential) and possess a strong understanding of FCA regulatory requirements. You’ll have experience of developing and implementing Risk Management frameworks and have a proven track record of team leadership and management as well as senior stakeholder engagement and management.
You must also be happy working in a hands-on manner – you’ll never be far from the coalface.
